Terms of Service

Effective date: August 10, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Applets, including the Applets website, mobile app, applet builder, generated applets, sharing features, credits, and related services. By using Applets, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Applets. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, keeping your credentials secure, and all activity on your account. Do not share your account or use another person’s account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. The Applets service

Applets lets you describe an idea in conversation, request a generated mini-app, run it, and optionally share it. Applets may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including AI providers, credits, galleries, and sharing availability.

3. Your content and generated output

You are responsible for prompts, messages, attachments, applet content, and other material you submit or publish. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that material. You retain rights you already have in your content. You grant Applets the limited rights needed to host, process, display, generate, secure, and share that content as you request.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to output generated for other users, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review and test generated applets before relying on them. You are responsible for the content, legality, security, and suitability of applets you publish or use.

4. Sharing and public content

When you create a share link, publish to a gallery, or otherwise make an applet public, you authorize Applets to display that version and its public metadata to people who can access it. Do not publish personal data, confidential information, copyrighted material without permission, malware, or content that you do not want to make public.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, or create harmful, abusive, deceptive, or illegal content;
  • upload malware or attempt to compromise Applets, its providers, or another user’s account;
  • scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or bypass limits or access controls;
  • use Applets to make high-risk decisions or provide professional advice without appropriate human review; or
  • resell, redistribute, or misrepresent Applets or another user’s applet.

6. Credits and purchases

Some generation features may use credits. Credit balances, prices, products, grants, and availability may change. Credits are not cash, are not transferable, and may only be used within Applets. Where purchases are enabled, the applicable app store and RevenueCat terms may also apply. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this section.

7. Intellectual property

Applets, its software, branding, design, and service materials are owned by or licensed to Applets and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the service. You may not copy or exploit Applets’ non-user materials except as allowed by law or with permission.

8. Third-party services

Applets relies on third-party infrastructure, AI providers, email delivery, analytics, storage, authentication, and app-store services. Those services may have separate terms, limitations, outages, and privacy notices. Applets is not responsible for failures caused solely by a third party, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep the service working.

To operate and improve Applets, we may collect product telemetry such as screen views, touch interactions, masked session replay, lifecycle events, and reliability information. This analytics processing is described in the Privacy Policy and can be turned off in Profile. It is not required to use the core service.

9. Availability and disclaimers

Applets is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free generation, accurate output, preservation of every version, or fitness for a particular purpose. Do not rely on an applet for emergencies, safety-critical decisions, or professional advice.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, or if we discontinue a feature or the service. You may stop using Applets and request account deletion. Sections that should reasonably continue after termination—including ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, liability, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Applets will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, or service availability arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We may update these Terms as Applets evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, unless applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
